Which hosting companies allow DNS CName aliases to be used?

I have registered two domain names with GoDaddy. The first domain is now online, hosted by a company in the UK. For the second domain I entered a CName record to point the second one to the first. My hosting company does not seem to support this though :-( I get an error page from the hosting company that states %26quot;Site not found%26quot;. The first domain works fine.

Does anyone know a cheap hosting company that does, or another way to achieve the same effect? I have a low volume site. I think my current hosting company pools many domains onto one server.

Hello,

Its not really necessary to use the CNAME feature, you should just forward that the registered domain to the other domain. To answer your question no-ip.com is the best domain register out there. They are a more expensive than godaddy, but the services are much easier to use and there are no bugs like godaddy has.
