Im looking for the best website host for domain names and websites?

I really like 1and1. I have used them for four years with no interruption in service, fast email, web email retrieval, and multi domains. Their costs are very cheap, less than $5 a month for web hosting. If you only want a domain and email, then it is about $1 a month.

I found %26#039;VicSeo%26#039; to the most appropriate. But there is a lack of detail in every entry here.

Such as,

What services are given, highest %26amp; lowest charge, most basic plan uptime/downtime, Help/Support information, servers are locations? Report It

Other Replys:Hahaha the commenter above, JUst C, has to be a retard when he complains no one lists all these different qualities of their host yet he lists none for his suggestions. So in the future spare us please. Report It

Other Replys:I wud love to add some suggestions but as right now i%26#039;m not using any service i feel it wont be reliable to suggest without proper use.

Apart from that i gave comment for use of newbies who dont know what to look at a good webhost.Alex win d battle because real ans. Report It

Other Replys:The best host I have seen that is cheap, has the best service and plan is http://www.dreamhost.com/r.cgi?240082 . I used to use ReadyHost which wasn%26#039;t bad. But dreamhost has alot more features, php (which isnt uncommon) but also mysql database (with mysqladmin setup), ruby on rails, cgi access, subversion repository. It has oneclick installs of joombla, wordpress, phpbbb, plus more. There base hosting plan, which I have, 145gb with an extra gb per week, 1.456 TB with 16gb extra a week of bandwidth, unlimited mysql databases, basically unlimited email accounts, you get a free domain registration with a 1 year or 2 year plan. Plus you can host multiple domains, right now i have 3 hosted through them with just one base hosting plan. If you get a 2 year plan its 7.95$ a month, for a 1 year its 9.95 a month, for month to month its 9.95 plus 49.95 setupfee.

Other Replys:Begin with setting up your own webpage as your current internet provider will provide free hosting as discussed below.

If you are currently a paid Internet subscriber, you are entitled to a %26quot;homepage%26quot; which often contains simple navigation and editing tools. And if you use the Netscape browser, the built-in Composer feature is a superior HTML authoring tool which is totally free. You can easily generate a full-blown website as a Homepage.

Nevertheless, the %26quot;homepage%26quot; URL is likely to be %26quot;http://homepage.earthlink.com/subscribe... name%26quot; and that URL can easily be overwritten via a redirection service, i.e., %26quot;mydomain.com%26quot; which allows you to link any registered domain name to %26quot;mask%26quot; another website. For example, should you type in the %26quot;domain name,%26quot; you will be immediately transported to the homepage and the hompage URL of http://homepage.earthlink.com/subscriber... a homepage URL which will be masked by the domain name. And the charge for the redirection service [even at godaddy.com] is normally FREE.

When you acquire a domain name, connect it using a redirection service [as discussed above] and submit/publish the domain name on major search engines/directories in order for Net surfers to find your website.

Good luck!
