Other Replys:To have a website you need to a) register a domain which is an anual fee b) subscribe to a web hosting service which is a monthly fee. Some of the better hosting companies will provide you with software to help you build a website. If you go to http://www.dakotawebhosting.com you can register a domain, subscribe for hosting and use the software package called quick shopping cart to setup an online store. They also have merchant accounts available for you to accept payments or you can get a paypal account.

As far as cost I know they are having a special where you can register a domain for $1.99 when you buy a non domain product so I think you%26#039;re looking at $1.99 up front for the domain if you get the shopping cart. In addition if you want to accept payments online you also have to get the SSL to make sure the credit card info is securely transfered.

For the search engines there%26#039;s alot more to it then can be explained on here. Try typing SEO into google to find information on it.
