For a business, I would recommend that you buy a .com domain name and a hosting package. If you want to look professional, you just can%26#039;t accomplish that using a domain redirection or a freeserver. Like you said, you will have costs ANYWAY if you have a business, and I would spring for a domain/hosting if I was in your position. I honestly would be a bit cautious if you have a .tk domain rather than a .com domain. I honestly wouldn%26#039;t consider using your business.

You want to buy a domain name? None of them are ad supported by you can buy them cheap from godaddy.com for example. Or if your in the uk buy a .co.uk domain name for only 鎷? for 2 years from 1and1.co.uk
Once you have your domain name, you need to get domain hosting. I would reccomend the FREE hosting at freehostia.com there are no ads and its totally free, so the only thing you are paying for is your Domain name which will probably be about $10 a month or less!

It can also be worthwhile if you are a designer and just have clients you want to host their sites for a nice stream of recurring revenue.
I started a small hosting company during college and loved it but as time went on it was hard being a one man show. Especially if there is a server problem and you are trying to get your customers sites up as quick as possible. I eventually sold it to a bigger host because of reasons like that but it helped pay for my college.

You can use a thing called Content Mangager System(CMS) for your site. Most CMS%26#039;s use Mysql and PHP so your web host will have to support PHP and Mysql before you can use one.

HTML is easy, it just seems scary.
You can get any cheap website maker, or free one, and any cheap ftp client or free one and you can get your site going.

Try Filezilla for your FTP client, or FTP surfer, FTP surfer is easier for a beginner, but I would choose Filezilla after you get to know how things work.

When you say cheap web site and include the words with a shopping cart, you just made a more expensive web site.
You%26#039;ll need a very good host that allows all the needed scripting languages and multiple databases. You should have one that allows lots of space and plenty of bandwidth. Their uptime should be almost perfect.
Most good providers have good Control panels like VDeck or CPanel X. Support should be very good. You may find a hosting site that provides legacy eCommerce installs from the Control Panel including PayPal and Google AdWords setups.
I would look around on the Internet and look for a good eCommerce software product. These aren%26#039;t cheap. Possibly a basic Content management System (CMS).
I don%26#039;t recommend a flashy site with all the bells and whistle. One that would be search engine friendly is better than one that is made out of Flash.
You also have to think about maintaining the site. You might want to learn HTML, CSS, MySQL (database) and PHP or ASP unless you get the software system that will get you through it.

Sadly, if you already have the computer (you are not ordering it now), you cannot downgrade. The %26quot;Anytime Upgrade%26quot; cost to Ultimate is fixed by Microsoft. However, depending on where you got you machine, the manfacturer may be able to assist you with a discount copy of XP Pro. In the worst case you could return the machine if you are still within the window.
Other Replys:A lot of users are unhappy with Vista. The big problem is that most of the new laptops are not set up with XP drivers. I am putting off the purchase of a new one for at least a year to give Microsoft time to sort out the problems of the new operating system, or give up and revert to an upgraded XP.
Other Replys:Most likely, you will not be able to downgrade to XP Pro, unless your particular pc is also offered with that operating system. Vista drivers are not compatible with XP. Either way, upgrade or downgrade, you will have to purchase a license for the OS.
