I'm using IIS for a site on my computer, with a static IP. How do I set up an E-mail server on

It%26#039;s fine if the address is like me@192.168.0.1 or whatever, it%26#039;s only going to be for my use. How do I go about configuring IIS to let me do that?

P.S. No, I%26#039;m not going to buy a domain name. I know how cheap it is, but it%26#039;s not worth it for me.

if you are using windows server you can enable the smtp server... in xp i%26#039;m not sure.... then you will need to create an MX (Mail Exchanger) record in a world dns server (that%26#039;s why you maybe need a domain) that if you want to receive mail from outside your network, if that%26#039;s not the case just using telnet on port 25 or some other app you will do fine to send mail.. from ant to your network
