Hone web design?

Is it possible to design all your pages intended to be compiled into a complete web site in a program like publisher, then convert them to HTML?

Or is this to simplistic?

Would it still be possible to add effects like fade in to pages created this way?

Often web pages done with MS Word, for example, look like they%26#039;ve been created with word. You%26#039;d do much better to get NVU or Dreamweaver (depending on your budget).

Take the time to download and tinker with some template pages, such as those from OSWD. They%26#039;re free, and although usually not extremely complex, do provide a good foundation for design.

Try to stay away from ones that use tables for the layout - tables went out of fashion since the advent of CSS.

You can do all of your images and animation with Photo shop

but Microsoft Word can be used as a web designer but it is difficult
