I also want to get a domain name but I want it to be either free or real cheap. I have searched the web %26amp; all the %26quot;free%26quot; websites %26amp; %26quot;free%26quot; domain names are no help. Some want credit card info. Why they need this when it%26#039;s suppose to be free makes me go %26quot;HMM%26quot;. Don%26#039;t make a bit of sense to me. Please help. If you have been in this situation or started a totally free website please let me know. If I use your answer %26amp; it is what I%26#039;m wanting 10 points to you!!!!!

Yahoo has a great free do it yourself web site. It doesn%26#039;t let you show pictures though and you%26#039;re limited to one page I think...

My first thought, (I went through the same dilemma) is to begin with a blog. Later, after some income is rolling in, use a portion of the money to pay for GOOD hosting (an e-biz NEEDS good hosting) and a good domain name provider, and create a site that is unique to YOU. The blog format will get your business off the ground.

I tried the avenue you are asking about and had disastrous results...downtime, Cpanel problems, wierd fonts, couldn%26#039;t FTP or download without %26quot;support%26quot; (it came with a $fee).

You can start a free blog (which includes the name of the blog and hosting) which will work for starters.

I use Blogger for my blog and host it at blogspot.com

It is an easy process to create, change, add articles/advertisemts, etc. You can even add widgets from

other sources to utilize affilitae programs, Feedburner to obtain subscribers (build list) and so on.

Best of all, it%26#039;s free. Also Yahoo has the 360.

I have one that earns me about $200 per month, consistently.

That%26#039;s a good return for FREE...all I have spent is time.

Take a peek at my blog and see if it might work for you:

I hope that helps. Let me know if you%26#039;d like to expand this question.
